《Today’s spiritual meditation》:  “They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment” (Heb 1:11)

Meditation one: What does the eternality and immutability of Jesus Christ mean to us? We live in a constantly fluctuating world. Things are changing and getting worse and worse. Even the earth can be destructed, but God Himself remains forever. He is “I AM WHO I AM” (Exo 3:14), has neither beginning of days nor end of life (Heb 7:3). Before the beginning of time (Joh 1:1), He exists, is the firstborn of all creation (Col 1:15). His love for us changes not, only He can bring people the eternal refuge.

Meditation two: Why do Christians have faith, hope, and love? Since Christ never changes, He is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb 13:8). His authority transcends all creatures. Whenever we have a need, He will surely help us; when we have sin and fall, He will forgive us as long as we repent and confess to Him in time.

Prayer: God heavenly Father, I thank You for letting me become partakers of the kingdom that will never be shaken. In this ever-changing generation, please guide me and not let me be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of my mind. Please uphold me, and I am willing to act upon my duty of being the light and salt in this world. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
