《今日靈修默想》：「必有童女懷孕生子；人要稱他的名為以馬內利。」（以馬內利翻出來就是「神與我們同在」（太1:23）
默想一：聖誕節與新年有關嗎？絕對有關的。耶穌基督降世，為要拯救罪人。祂藉著被釘在十字架上完成了救贖，使我們能經歷神的同在, 這就是以馬內利的意思。祂的同在不是外在的，而是內住的；不是暫時的，而是永遠的；不是憑感覺的，而是憑信心的；不是客觀的，而是主觀的經歷。你若接受祂為你生命的救主及生活的主，「以馬內利」對你的新年有實際的意義。
默想二：你新年的新希望是什麼？別忘了，神的同在比什麼都重要。有神同在，無往不利；有神同在，爭戰得勝；有神同在，充滿盼望；有神同在，從不孤單；有神同在，事奉有力；有神同在，家庭有愛；有神同在，就是天堂。
禱告：阿爸父神，感謝袮在基督裡的新創造。若有人在基督裡，他就是新造的人，舊事已過，都變成新的了（林後5:17）。求袮差遣聖靈內住我心並管理我的生活。我願在聖靈的引導下，追求聖潔，靈命更新，活出得勝。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).” (Mat 1:23)
Meditation one: Is Christmas related to New Year? They are absolutely relevant. Jesus Christ came to the world to save sinners. He accomplished the salvation by being crucified, so that we can experience God’s presence. This is what Emmanuel meant. His presence is not external, but inside; not temporary, but forever; not by feeling, but by faith; not objective, but subjective experience. If you accept Him as the Savior and Lord of your life, “Immanuel” has practical significance for you in the New Year.
Meditation two: What is your new wish for the New Year? Don’t forget that God’s presence is more important than anything else. When God is with us, there is no disadvantage; When God is with us, war can be won; When God is with us, we filled with hope; When God is with us, we will never be alone; When God is with us, we can serve diligently; When God is with us, family is filled with love. With God’s presence, it is like in heaven.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for Your new creation in Christ. If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2Co 5:17). Please send Your Holy Spirit to dwell in my heart and govern my life. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I would like to pursue holiness, to renew my spirit, and live out a victorious life. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
