Saturday《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “At the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden . . . they laid Jesus there.” (Joh 19:41-42)

Meditation one: How is the death of the Lord Jesus different from the death of a human being? The death of a human being is the death for one’s own sin; but the death of Jesus is to die for your and my sins. He was laid in an empty tomb, like a seed buried in the ground. Although He has endured the darkness, chill, loneliness, and death, yet all have been transformed into our eternal lives.

Meditation two: Does the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ have anything to do with you? Christ, son of God, the most humility, yet He has been ascended up to the highest and His name be far above all names. If there is no humility, where will ascending be? If there is no death, where will life be? If there is no darkness, where will light be?

Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for Your sacrificing love. Through the cross, Jesus Christ has truly revealed Your love. The cross was used to be a sign of shame, but You made it into the glory of the Lord Jesus. Lord, as long as I am still alive, there is nothing to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ., Your cross will forever be my glory. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!

Intercession: Pray for the global pandemic: May God have mercy to save the people and the lands suffered from the coronavirus around the world. Forgive people for their indulgence in sins, despising the true God, and even shedding innocent blood, which splashed over this land. Please forgive the sins of many nations who against the only true God.
