《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (Joh 15:5)
Meditation one: How is your relationship with God recently? This has a direct impact on your daily life, your soul, your testimony, your serving, your work, your behavior, your attitude, and your interpersonal relationship. Jesus stressed that our relationship with Him is like the relationship between the vine and the branches. We must “always remain in” Christ in order to keep our relationship with Him. Once you apart from Christ, your Christian life will lose its focus. You can do nothing for God regardless any effort.
Meditation two: What is the essential meaning of the parable Jesus said that “I am the true vine”? It emphasizes the daily life after believing in the Lord, not how to find the life. And after believing in the Lord, one must “remain” in Christ. Through your daily Bible reading, prayer, living out, serving, fellowship, and normal church life, you then can bear much fruit for God and ultimately to reach the purpose of glorifying the name of the Lord.
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You! You have let me find the fountain of my life through Jesus Christ. Please guide me and let me cherish the intimacy, affiliation, and unity with You every day. I pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
