《今日靈修默想》：「無論做什麼，或說話、或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉著祂感謝神。」（西3:17）
默想一：什麼是基督徒行事為人的準則？就是無論做什麼都要奉主名而做。奉主耶穌的名就是按著祂的旨意、倚靠祂的能力、為祂的榮耀作事；既然是奉耶穌基督的名禱告的，那我們的所作所為是要合乎主的旨意，並且榮神益人。基督徒為人處事，不僅想到神，要榮耀神；而且要想到人，利益於人。凡能利益人的，也必能榮耀神。
默想二：你已經是重生得救的基督徒嗎？那你的言語、行為、態度有流露出基督的生命及滿足的喜樂嗎？基督徒若沒有基督，生活就沒有見證；基督徒若沒有見證，就是羞辱主的名。沒有基督的生命, 是無望的盡頭。有基督的生命，是無盡的盼望。
禱告：阿爸父神，感謝袮在耶穌基督裡的拯救，讓我認識袮無比的大愛。求袮光照我，在我每一次的禱告說「阿們」之前，先監察我今天的所言、所行、所思、所求，看看有沒有是妄稱祢的名或污衊祢的名。求祢指引我，我願活在祢的光中，行在祢的旨意裡。奉耶穌基督的聖名禱告，阿們。
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Col 3:17)
Meditation one: What is the criterion of Christians’ way of life? It is whatever you do, do it in the name of the Lord. To be in the name of Jesus is to follow His will, to rely on His power, and to do things for His glory. Since our prayer is in the name of Jesus Christ, our deeds should be in consistent with God’s will, and encourage people as well as glorify God. When doing things and dealing with people, Christians must not only think of God and glorify God; but also think of people and encourage people. Anyone who can encourage others will also glorify God.
Meditation two: Have you already been a reborn and saved Christian? Have your words, deeds, and attitudes revealed the life of Christ with fullness of joy? Without Christ, life cannot bear witness; if Christians’ lives cannot bear witness, they indeed have disgraced the name of the Lord. Life without Christ is a hopeless dead end. A life with Christ is having endless hope.
Prayer: God Abba Father, thank You for Your salvation in Jesus Christ, and let me know Your wonderful love. Please shine on me. Before I say “Amen” in every prayer, please examine what I have said, or done, or thought, or demanded in that day, to see if I have taken Your name in vain or disgraced Your name. Please guide me, so I can live in Your light and walk in Your will. I pray in the holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
