《年終靈修默想二》：「但那等候耶和華的必從新得力。他們必如鷹展翅上騰；他們奔跑卻不困倦，行走卻不疲乏。」（賽40:31）
默想一：來到2020年的最後幾天了，你是鬆了一口氣呢？還是仍在疫情的肆虐下慌張、不安、疲憊、無力？此時此刻，你需要的是「停！看！聽！」檢視自己是不是離神好遠了？詩人說：「你們要休息，要知道我是神」(詩46:10) 。及時地來到阿爸父神，向祂傾心吐意。祂應許：「疲乏的，祂賜能力；軟弱的，祂加力量」（賽40:29）
默想二：你要經歷「如鷹展翅上騰」的生活嗎？關鍵在『等候耶和華的』！等候絕不是浪費時間，也不是什麼事都不做，而是放下自己的努力，讓神來帶領你怎麼做。積極地禱告仰望神，相信祂的旨意，順服祂的指引，調整你的步伐。詩人說：「凡等候神的，必不羞愧」（詩25:3）。神能使軟弱變剛強，失望變盼望。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝袮了解我的軟弱及需要。面對世界的災難、亂象、對立、虛偽時，求袮賜我鎮定的靈，不僅渴慕藉著讀經及禱告親近神，也學會在袮面前「默默無聲，專心等候上帝，因為我的盼望是從袮而來」（詩62:5）。也求袮賜我樂意的心遵行袮的話。奉耶穌基督得勝的名祈求，阿們！
《Year-end spiritual meditation 2》: “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isa 40:31)
Meditation one: Toward the last few days of year 2020, are you relieved? Or is it still panic, restless, weary, and drained under the raging pandemic? At this moment, what you do need is “Stop! Watch! Listen!” to see if you are far away from God? The psalmist said: “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psa 46:10). Come to God Abba Father in time and open your heart to Him. He has promised that: “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak” (Isa 40:29).
Meditation two: Do you want to experience a life that “soars on wings like eagles “? The key is “to wait for the Lord”! Waiting is by no means a waste of time, nor is it doing nothing, but to lay down your own efforts and let God lead your way. Pray persistently and look upon God, trust His will, obey His guidance, and adjust your pace. The psalmist said: “No one who waits for you shall be shamed” (Psa 25:3). God can turn weakness into strength, despair into hope.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for understanding my weakness and needs. While facing the world’s adversities, chaos, hostility, and hypocrisy, please give me a still spirit. Not only do I yearn to get close to God through reading the Bible and praying, but also learn that “For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from You” (Psa 62:5). I also pray You to give me a willing heart to follow Your words. I pray in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
