Bible reading: 1 Corinthians 10.
Insight: “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1Co 10:31)
Insight one: What is the highest criterion of a Christian’s manner? In all manner of living, we glorify God! We don’t do anything that does not glorify God, because we are bought by God with a heavy price through Jesus Christ. Now we no longer live, but Christ lives in us (Gal 2:20). Since we all belong to Him, we all should be used by Him and do things for His glory.
Insight two: What is the genuine assess of a Christian’s faith life? It is not whether you are successful, but whether you are faithful in your daily life. People tend to regard the accomplishments in ministry as goals. However, the goal of a godly person is to bring up the glory of God in daily life and to reveal God through everyday life and relationships with other people.
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for giving me the liberty in spirit. Please have Your Holy Spirit to search my heart, so all I do, major or trivial, is to glorify You, and not to fall short of or steal the glory of God. Lord! Today, whenever and wherever, ask You to use me as a vessel of glory. I pray in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
