Meditation two: What is\nthe purpose of the Lord to save us? It is for us to \u201copen\ntheir eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to\nGod\u201d (Act 26:18). We then have new lives and\ngoals. For we are God\u2019s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good\nworks, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Eph 2:10). Good deeds are not the cause of salvation;\nbut the fruit of salvation. God is the source of all good deeds. God\u2019s people\nwill bear the fruit of goodness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
