Although Peter followed the Lord and came to the garden, Peter failed to be watchful and pray with the Lord. Peter fell into sleep at the moment when Lord Jesus needed spiritual support most. Do we act like Peter? We fall into sleep while praying; follow the Lord but not all the way to the end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: When the Lord Jesus was brought into the courtyard of the High priest, Peter only fearfully followed from afar, kept his distance in order to be safe. When the Lord was teased and humiliated and suffered, Peter publicly denied the Lord three times. We criticize Peter for being ungrateful, but if it were us, would we be stauncher than Peter was?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
