Meditation one: What does the Lord Jesus do in this world? He wants to bring the truth to the world. He is to reveal God, to manifest God, and to let the world see God through Him. All who listen to Him and obey the Lord’s Word are on the side of truth. Their hearts will be bound by the truth, and their lives will be sanctified in truth, hold the truth firmly, letting people see the glory of heaven through them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: How to let the world see that you are “on the side of truth”? You must obey Jesus Christ in everything because Jesus proclaimed Himself the Lord of the truth (Joh 14: 6). Whether a person is “on the side of truth” depends not on what the person announces, or whether the person\u2019s talk is filled with spiritual terminologies, but whether the person really “listens” to the Lord’s words. If we say that we are disciples of Christ, followers of Christ, and serve Christ, but do not abide by the truth and live out the truth, then we are deceiving ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for the truth You have revealed, and thank You for letting me be a partaker of Your truth. Please teach me how to keep my daily Bible reading, and let Your truth illuminate my daily life. Please help me so I am willing to obey Your truth, testify Your truth, and declare Your truth.
