Meditation one: Is it easy to please God? It is not easy! Because of this, you may suffer losses, be humiliated, and be persecuted. However, it proves that you are truly fear the Lord, respect Him, and love Him. In fact, the losses from pleasing God will eventually become gains, the humiliations will eventually become glories, and the persecutions will eventually become blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Why is it so distressing when trying to please people? It is because you have to watch people’s responses all the time, always worry about offending people, and afraid of not meeting their expectations. All you do is only for the approval of people. Try to please people all the time will bring heavy pressure. One who is trying to please other people appears to be clever, but in fact is foolish. The purpose of being a servant of Christ is to glorify Him and to follow Him. He said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mar 10:45)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
