Meditation one: Can people have a way to be saved in front of God? People can try to practice good deeds, to contemplate diligently, to sacrifice of themselves, or to live a thrift life for themselves. However, none of these will work before God. If one deserves salvation, or can earn salvation on one\u2019s own way, salvation is no longer a grace. The grace of having peace with God is not by deeds, but by faith, that is, justification by faith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation two: How do you make people realize that you are “It is no longer I who live”? Your traits are still there, but your motivation for living, and the disposition that governs your life, have all been changed thoroughly. Your body may still be the same as used to be, but the power that used to come from Satan to want you to be self-assured has been demolished. The renewed life is “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me”. If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here (2Co 5:17).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You! For my sins, You have died, been buried, and resurrected. Today, it is Your great love that has given me a new soul, a new life, and a new hope.
