\u300aToday’s spiritual meditation\u300b:  \u201cMay I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.\u201d (Gal 6:14)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation one: In a public occasion, will you naturally declare yourself as a Christian? Are you proud of being a Christian? Or, do you feel embarrassed? Therefore, keep silent since God knows it anyway. Jesus said, \u201cYou are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house\u201d (Mat 5:14-15). Jesus calls us not to be a hidden Christian but a Christian who gives light to everyone. He also said, “Whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.” (Luk 12:8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation two: What should Christians boast about? It is not about the worldly success, status, wealth, health, or prosperity; because these worldly things and achievements only give you a short-term happiness. They can neither satisfy your heart nor carry them with you upon death. What we boast about is nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified! It is because Jesus has died for our sins on the cross. We are what we are today, all because of the grace of the Lord.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your power of salvation. Please help me to be willing to humble myself as You are. Make the old self life to be crucified to me and let my life be Your resurrected life. Please help me to be willing to carry the cross to follow You, and be gratified for the cross.
