This is not possible! People cannot be good enough to meet God’s standards, nor can they be saved through good deeds. Becoming a child of God is not because we have a good family background, religious attitude, self-cultivation, compulsory self-discipline, nor is it relying on our own good behavior, meditation, qigong, yoga, etc. None of these can lead us to have a correct relationship with God. Only by believing in God and receiving the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ can we be justified. Not just “bad people” need salvation, “good people” are more needed to have salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meditation two: Is it too pessimistic for a Christian to “lose all things and count them as rubbish”? Does it mean to be disillusioned with the mortal world? It is not! When they “surpass worth of knowing Christ Jesus “, everything that prevents them from knowing Christ is like rubbish. Many times, the reason why we cannot give some worldly things up is mainly because we have not treated it as a loss, but rather as lovable. How many things we trash, we will gain that many in Christ; how much we empty our hearts, Christ will fill in our hearts that much.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Prayer: God Abba Father, I praise You. We can know You because of Your creation, redemption and revelation. Thank You even more, because we trust that “this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent<\/strong>” (Joh 17:3). Please give me wisdom so that I can pursue You with all my strength, and regard knowing You as the surpassing worth of my life. The most beautiful blessing in my life is knowing You.
