Meditation one: What kind of country does God truly want to bless? It is the kingdom “whose God is the Lord “. They are the people of God, the people of the kingdom of heaven under the sovereignty of God. They live in the world, but they exalt God in all things, and after God\u2019s heart to live a life that is pleasing to God. Those people are blessed because “the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love” (Psa 33:18). For there is no lack with those who fear Him. Those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing (Psa 34:9-10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation two: What are the principles for Christians to choose a nation\u2019s leader? A leader, just like us, cannot be a perfect person, but we can examine from the perspective of Bible and assess their ideas and ideologies to see if they are in line with or close to the principles of the Bible, and whether they are against our beliefs. Christians should always be on God’s side, not on people’s side. Let us make wise choices for God’s sake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Thank God heavenly Father for allowing me to have the responsibilities as a citizen in heaven and a citizen on earth. Please teach me how to fulfill my Christian\u2019s duty as light and salt in this world. Please expand my prospects, not only to care about people\u2019s salvation, but also to pray for the grace of the country where I live. You said: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land”(2Ch 7:14).
