Meditation one: Have you ever found that once you truly follow the Lord, suffering will follow, and disaster will chase around one after another? Do you regret? The narrow path of the cross has never been an easy journey, or a smooth voyage, but rugged passages full of challenges. Our Lord has not sinned, but He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; But thank God, \u201cthe punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by his wounds we are healed” (Isa 53:5). He leaves us a beautiful example, let us imitate Him and follow Him firmly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Do Christians suffer even if they live out good deeds? There is nothing surprise about this. Because the world does not know Jesus Christ, they will then segregate us, dispute against us in many things and try to slander us. But we can rest assured, as the apostle Peter said: “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed” (1Pe 4:12 -13). It is true that a Christian\u2019s suffering is often a God\u2019s blessing in disguise. God loads the cross upon us, but the cross gives us His glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer: Thank God heavenly Father, because of Your calling, I become Your child. There are sufferings in this world, but I will not be afraid because I know that You have overcome the world.
