Meditation one: What is Christians\u2019 shared responsibility in a church? It is “like-minded”! Whether a church is like-minded or not is greatly associated with the outreach gospel ministry. Devil does not like us to preach the gospel, therefore attempts to provoke conflicts and chaos in a church, so that the church is exhausted to the point of being unable to care about the needs outside the church. If believers treat the gospel work above all other ministries, brothers and sisters will naturally be happy to fellowship in furtherance of the gospel.
Meditation two: Is it easy for people in a church to “be like-minded”? It is not easy for people with different nationalities, cultures, races, skin colors, lifestyles, social status, ideology, education background to live in church life together. Like-minded does not mean to have the same opinion, same thought and same action in everything. Nor does it mean “you agree with my mind” or “I agree with your mind,” but all “have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.” (Php 2:5) For Christ’s sake, we have to let go of our own opinions and prejudices, and actively strive to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Eph 4:3)
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me the secret of being like-minded, which is “be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” Please let me realize that the unity of a church should start from me. I would like to learn to be gentle and humble as You are, and make the unity of the church to be my daily intercession. I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen!<\/p>",
