Meditation one: Is there a way for people to go to God\u2019s place? This is not possible, it is even more impossible to see God with naked eyes. It is impossible for a sinful person to communicate with the holy God. But thank God, through His only beloved Son Lord Jesus, He Himself was born for the people and intentionally wanted to dwell with them. This is Emmanuel. The birth of the Lord Jesus is not for us to cheerfully celebrate, but to save us. The Lord Jesus Himself said: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mar 10:45).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Brothers and sisters, are you facing trials, bondages, disasters, and forays in your life? Seek unto God! God can help you. The key is whether you trust in God? God gives “Immanuel” not only the name of the baby Jesus, but also God’s desire to bring peace to the world through Him. His birth is a promise, an assurance, and a warranty from God. In our journey of life, we often encounter “sudden storms”, but if we know that Jesus is with us on the boat, then we can rest assured. If the Lord is with us, not one hair of us will be damaged, and the Lord’s grace will always be sufficient for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for Your incomparable love, and through the birth of Jesus, willingly condescend to people who are lowly in order to lead us into Your presence. May You guide me and strengthen my faith, consider it pure joy whenever I face trials of many kinds, sing triumphant songs in the dark, praise God even in sickness, and be strong and courageous and rely on the Lord while in weakness.
