默想：「鹽本是好的，鹽若失了味，可用什麼叫它再鹹呢？或用在田裡，或堆在糞裡，都不合式，只好丟在外面。有耳可聽的，就應當聽！」（路14:34-35）Insight: “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out.” (Luk 14:34-35)
默想：耶穌對眾人說：「你們要努力進窄門。我告訴你們：將來有許多人想要進去，卻是不能。」（路13:24）Insight: “Jesus said to them, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”” (Luk 13:24)
默想：「你們要謹慎自守，免去一切的貪心，因為人的生命不在乎家道豐富。」（路12:15）Insight: “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” (Luk 12:15)
默想：「你們（作父親）雖然不好，尚且知道拿好東西給兒女，何況天父，豈不更將聖靈給求祂的人嗎？」（路11:13）Insight: “If you (a father) then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”” (Luk 11:13)
默想：耶穌回答說：「馬大，馬大！你為許多的事思慮煩擾，但是不可少的只有一件，馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的。」（路10:41-42）Insight: ““Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”” (Luk 10:41-42)
默想：「手扶著犂向後看的，不配進神的國。」（路9:62）Insight: “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luk 9:62)
