Meditation one: What is the meaning of Christians\u2019 baptism? Is it a\n“passport” to guarantee you to heaven? Not necessarily. It means that\nwe belong to Christ, and that the old things are\npassed away; all things are become new. We no longer belong to ourselves but to God. Every baptized\nperson has become one in Christ, regardless of race, class, gender, title, or\nposition. In the kingdom of God there is no division of levels or ranks, we all\nreceive the promise and share in the inheritance together. We all belong to the children of God in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: What does it mean to clothe oneself with Christ?\nIt means that believers have clothed themselves with Christ once are baptized\ninto the Lord’s name. To clothe oneself with the Lord Jesus means not just at\nthe moment of returning to the Lord, but every day from that day on. The\nmeaning is not just to cover us, but to let Jesus Christ become our fortress\nand strength. Thus, we no longer live in the lusts of our flesh, but can live\nout the image of the Lord and walk in newness of life. To clothe oneself\nwith Christ is not to mimic Christ, but to live out Christ’s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
