Meditation one: Why the petitions, prayers, intercession and\nthanksgiving made for all people, kings and those in authority would be the first thing a church should do? It is because that is the\nwill of God. The Lord Jesus wants us to pray first for the kingdom of God and\nHis righteousness. Do not worry whether Lord Jesus will take care of you or\nnot. When you are praying for all people, God has already taken care of your\nneeds. Don’t underestimate your intercession. God can flip everything that is\nimpossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Why a Christian\u2019s intercession is a\nprivilege as well as a responsibility? It is because prayer not only brings us\ncloser to God the Father, but also declares that we are God\u2019s children. He will\nnever withhold from us any of His blessings. When we laborer together with God,\nwe have the responsibility to love what He loves and do what He does. When we\nare called to be God’s priests, we will serve Him with intercessions, pray for\nGod’s kingdom and bring in the Lord’s blessings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nLord Jesus! Forgive me the sin of not praying, and\nforgive me for criticizing and judging what I have heard or encountered, but I\nhave not fulfilled my duty to pray for them. I also ask for Your forgiveness\nfor my short sights in prayer that often focused around “my” needs\nonly.
