Meditation one: What is\nthe destiny that the people of this world cannot overthrow? It is that\n“all people are destined to die!”\nNo matter who you are, rich or poor, knowledgeable or illiteracy, noble or\nordinary, you cannot traverse the line of death. “The wages of sin is\ndeath” (Rom 6:23). What is even more frightening is that this is not the\nvery end of the destined death, but to encounter the “after\nthat to face judgment.” Today, God\ndoes not judge you but give you the opportunity to repent because of the exceeding riches of\nHis grace in kindness, forbearance, and patience. However, when the day of righteous judgment comes and you still do not repent, He will render to every one according to their\ndeeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Can\nyou be exempted from God’s judgment as long as everything is done by good\nconscience? It is not possible only because God is the source of all goodness.\nNo matter how good a person is, the person cannot be as good as God is. God\nknows that it is impossible for people to be saved by their deeds. So He is\ncompassionate, as a decreed, that it is only by grace, through\nfaith, people can be saved; not by deeds\n(Eph 2:8-9). The Lord Jesus promised: “whoever hears my word and\nbelieves him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has\ncrossed over from death to life.”\n(John 5:24) <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nLord Jesus, I thank You for everything that You have done for me, which are far\nmore abundantly than all that I ask\nor think.\nGive me wisdom to cherish my limited time and live for You.
