Meditation one: What kind of “world” is the world that Christians need to “overcome”? It refers to the regions the evil has been manipulating. Today\u2019s system of the entire world is like a huge, tempting machine that often lures us away from God. The devil uses every way to induce us to indulge the lust of flesh and brings us in bondage to sin. If we cannot stand fast in the Lord to overcome such a world, we will be conquered by this world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: Why can Christians overcome the darkness and the evil of this world? It is because we have different lives, that is, the lives that belong to the children of God. This life makes us to be able to triumph over the world. On the cross, Jesus Christ has already overcome the power of the devil, the world, the flesh, and the sin. By faith, as we accept Jesus Christ as the Savior of life and let Him be the Lord of our lives, then He will become our strength to overcome the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for giving us eternal life and giving us Your triumph. Today, we live in an omnifarious and ostentatious world full of traps that we are easily lost.
