Insight one: God helped Joshua lead the Israelites in the wonderful battles in the past. Today, do you believe that God can still help you fight wonderful spiritual battles? What we believe in is the God who was, is and is forever. The key to victory is not in the number of people, but in the presence of God. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God (Psalm 20:7). If God is for us, who can be against us (Romans 8:31)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Insight two: Why does God tell us not to be afraid? Because we are the sons and daughters redeemed through His blood, the treasures in the eyes of God. No matter what we encounter, He will never leave us alone, nor will He forsake us as orphans. When God says “Don’t be afraid “, it means “Just believe.” Anyone who becomes a child of God by faith can enjoy the promise of God’s presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer: God Abba Father, thank You for Your presence and the promise of victory. I have to admit that there are often fearful, discouraging, frightening, frustrating, disappointing, and inexplicable things in daily life.
