《感恩節靈修默想五》：「你們要稱謝耶和華，因祂本為善；祂的慈愛永遠長存！」（詩107:1）
默想一：你曾經歷過跌到人生的低谷、向左向右求助無門、往前往後都不是的苦況嗎？抬起頭來向上看吧。詩人說：「我要向山舉目，我的幫助從何而來？我的幫助從造天地的耶和華而來」（詩121:1-2）。你現在的處境無論多淒慘、多惡劣、多糟糕、多絕望。請記得，有一位看不見的的神，祂在乎你，祂在兩千多年前為我們道成肉身成為人，為要拯救我們。耶穌基督的降生，是神愛世人的明證。
默想二：你曾否想過？假如耶穌基督沒有降生，這世界就沒有聖誕節；如果基督沒有捨身流血，我們的罪就得不到赦免；如果基督沒有經歷死，祂不會有復活；如果基督沒有復活，基督徒是世上最可憐的人。但感謝神，因祂從死裡復活，我們的人生才有意義，我們的生命才有盼望，我們的生活才有目標。
禱告：天父上帝，袮是配得我們的歌頌及讚美。因袮的獨生兒子耶穌的降世，我們才能蒙恩得救。求袮幫助我，在進入聖誕季節時，賜我敏銳的心和時刻感恩的心，叫我有膽量，成為報福音傳好消息的人。奉主耶穌寶貴的名祈求，阿們！
《Thanksgiving spiritual meditation 5》: “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” (Psa 107:1)
Meditation one: Have you ever experienced the chaos of falling to the very bottom in your life, having no place to ask for help regardless, and trapping in the middle of nowhere? Lift your head and look up. The psalmist said: “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” (Psa 121:1-2). No matter how miserable, how harsh, how dreadful, how desperate you are now, please remember that there is an invisible God who cares about you. He has become flesh for us more than two thousand years ago to save us. The birth of Jesus Christ is a sure proof of God’s love for the world.
Meditation two: Have you ever thought about this? If Jesus Christ had not been born, there would be no Christmas in this world; if Christ had not sacrificed His life to shed His blood, our sins would not be forgiven; if Christ had not experienced death, He would not have been resurrected; if Christ had not been resurrected, Christians would be the most pitiable people in the world. But thank God, because He has risen from the dead, our lives become meaningful, our lives have hope, and our lives have purposes.
Prayer: God heavenly Father, You are worthy of our adoration and praise. Because of the birth of Your only begotten son, Jesus, we can be saved by grace. Please help me and give me a keen heart and a grateful heart as I enter into the Christmas season, so that I can have the courage to become a person who preaches the gospel and shares the good news. I pray in the precious name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
