默想經文：耶穌說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要禁止他們，因為在天國的，正是這樣的人。」（太19:14）
默想一：作家長的，你給孩子最有價值的遺產是什麼？你到底要把孩子帶到哪裡去？愛子女最具體、最真實的表現是帶領他們認識眞神。讓孩子跟父母一樣信靠神，共享救恩之樂，同活在永生的國度裡。神的話很清楚，「教養孩童，使他走當行的道，就是到老他也不偏離」（箴22:6）。不要等到認為他們懂事時，才關心他們的得救，那時就已經來不及了。
默想二：你真的很在乎孩子的靈魂得救嗎？神是很在乎他們的存在價值。耶穌說：「你們要小心，不可輕看這小子裡的一個，…你們在天上的父，也是這樣不願意這小子裡失喪一個。」(太18:10-14)。當我們帶小孩子來教會時，等於是陪他們走進上帝的國度中。那一天來到神面前，如果祂問你：「你的孩子在哪裡？」你要如何向神交代？
禱告：感謝神，袮關心家，把「基督化家庭」的責任託付了我們。求袮加添我信心，並賜我從袮來的智慧、能力，讓我成為忠於袮的好管家。帶領全家歸主不容易，但我相信在人不能的，在神凡事都能做。主啊！幫助我學像孩子一樣，單純地信靠袮。奉耶穌的名禱告，阿們！
Insight: “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mat 19:14)
Insight one: What is the most valuable legacy you, as a parent, can give to your children? Where are you going to bring your child to? The most certain and true manifestation of loving your children is to lead them to know God. Lead children to trust in God like their parents do, and share the joy of salvation, as well as live in the kingdom of eternal life. God’s Word is clear, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” (Pro. 22: 6). Don’t wait until you think they are mature enough, and then care about their salvation. It will be too late.
Insight two: Do you really care about your child’s soul being saved? God cares a lot about their value of existence. Jesus said, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. . . In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish” (Mat 18: 10-14). When we bring our children to the church, we are accompanying them into the kingdom of God. On the day when you come to meet God, if He asks you, “Where is your child?” How do you answer to God?
Prayer: Thank God, He cares about families, and entrusts us with the responsibility of a “Christianized family.” Please strengthen my faith, and give me the wisdom and power from You, that I can be a good steward loyal to you. It is not easy to lead the whole family to the Lord, yet I believe when things are impossible with men; but with God all things are possible. Oh God! Help me learn to be like a child and trust in You only. I pray In Jesus’ name, Amen!
