《今日靈修默想》：「人若自潔，脫離卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用。（提後2:21）
默想一：基督徒為什麼要過聖潔的生活？因爲那是神呼召我們的心意，祂要我們脫離在神眼中看為卑賤、罪惡、汙穢的事。聖經明示：『那召你們的既是聖潔，你們在一切所行的事上也要聖潔』（彼前1:15）。聖潔是祂把我們從世界分別出來的目的。神是要我們作事，但祂所注意的，並不是事，乃是作事的人。
默想二：你要成為神家中貴重的器皿嗎？世人所看的貴重價值是在於地位顯赫、錢財萬貫、知識淵博、才華橫溢、外觀迷人，但神造的每一個人都有價值，都能被神使用，只是差別在於我們是否做合神心意的器皿，不僅是貴重又合乎主用，就是活出神的聖潔。只有聖潔才能合乎主使用，也只有過聖潔的生活才能與聖潔的神相稱。
禱告：天父上帝，感謝讚美祢，因祢藉著耶穌基督的救恩，使我蒙潔淨，得新生命。更感謝袮，因袮使我有機會服事萬王之王、萬主之主。求袮教導我如何把有限的生命獻給袮用。我不求被袮「大用」，而是「合乎祢用」。求袮的聖靈時刻地充滿我，好讓我在袮聖潔的光中生活。奉主耶穌的聖名禱告，阿們!
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” (2Ti 2:21)
Meditation one: Why do Christians have to live a holy life? It is because that is is the purpose, which God has called us for. He wants us to purge from what is seen as dishonorable, sinful, and filthy in God’s eyes. Bible says clearly, “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do” (1Pe 1:15). Holiness is His purpose of sanctifying us from the world. God does want us to do things, but His focus is not the thing, but the person who does the thing.
Meditation two: Do you want to be an honorable vessel in the house of God? Worldly perspective of honorable value lies in prominent positions, wealthy prosperities, profound knowledges, brilliant talents, and alluring appearance. Nevertheless, each person created by God has value and can be used by God. Yet the difference lies in whether we are a vessel that conforms to God’s will. It is not only precious but also usable for the Lord’s purpose, that is, to live out God’s holiness. Be holy is the only way to make us useful to the Lord and only by living a holy life can be worthy of the holy God.
Prayer: God heavenly Father, Thank You and praise You for purifying me and renewing a new life through the salvation of Jesus Christ. Thank You even more for giving me the opportunity to serve the King of kings and Lord of lords. Please teach me how to dedicate my limited life time to You. I am not asking for “greatly useful” but “useful to You”. Please let Your Holy Spirit fill in me every moment, so that I may live in Your holy light. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
