Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n

1. Preaching and Teaching<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Preach regularly at Sunday Worship Services, delivering biblically sound and relevant messages. Provide biblical teaching or curriculum assessment for fellowship Bible studies and small groups.<\/li>\n
  2. Hold firmly to the Christian Faith and to teach God\u2019s Word in all settings (beyond the pulpit and the Church).<\/li>\n
  3. Oversee ministry team volunteers in organizing church services, fellowships, and ministry activities.<\/li>\n
  4. Organize, lead, and support the Youth Group curriculum, and Sunday School, baptism, and discipleship classes.<\/li>\n
  5. Recruit, train, and manage a team of youth leaders and volunteers to assist in ministering to youth. Develop strong relationships with youth and their families through meetings and events.<\/li>\n
  6. Mentor and disciple EC members providing pastoral care, biblical guidance, and wisdom.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. Ministry Development<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Align the EC ministerial priorities with the vision of CCCB (To be a group of believers that operates biblically through worship and fellowship, so that all may know \u201c\u2026that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.\u201d \u2013 Deuteronomy 4:39).<\/li>\n
    2. Equip and encourage core teams to serve the needs of the Congregation.<\/li>\n
    3. Work closely with the Senior Pastor and other church spiritual leaders to develop and fulfill the mission and vision of CCCB.<\/li>\n
    4. Collaborate and coordinate with the Elder & Deacon Board (EDB), Church Staff, and other Ministry Leaders to maintain unity and harmony between the EC, Chinese Congregation, the Youth Group, and other ministries.<\/li>\n
    5. Lead the EC to organize and participate in regular fellowship activities, prayer meetings, and revival events.<\/li>\n
    6. Engage the EC in mission activities, including creating mission opportunities and training mission teams.<\/li>\n
    7. Lead the EC in engaging the local community with the gospel of Jesus Christ in spiritual growth and outreach programs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      3. Shepherding<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Regularly visit members, new believers, non-believers, the sick, the discomforted, and others in need.<\/li>\n
      2. Provide pastoral and spiritual counseling and support to church members to help them grow in understanding the Biblical truth, as well as grow in church life and family life.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Qualifications<\/h2>\n
          \n
        1. Candidate is preferred to have a degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field or equivalent experience in church ministry.<\/li>\n
        2. Candidate must understand and comply with the Church\u2019s Statements of Faith (https:\/\/cccb.us\/alpha\/en\/about\/what-we-believe\/<\/a>), and the principles and doctrines of the Church Constitution.<\/li>\n
        3. Candidate must possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n
        4. Candidate should have at least two years of pastoral experience or equivalent experience in church ministry.<\/li>\n
        5. Candidate must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).<\/li>\n
        6. Candidate should have an understanding of Chinese or Asian American culture, with a heart and the ability to bridge generational and cultural gaps within the church community.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
