Meditation one: <\/strong>Why is Mary’s devotion remembered by God? Because of her faith and vision, she recognized not only that it would be the last day of Jesus ‘ stay in Bethany, but also that Jesus was about to be crucified to fulfill the Messiah’s mission. For this reason, she took the last chance to dedicate to Jesus, who had not yet been crucified, the most beautiful and costly ointment of pure nard, in order to express her sincere love and living faith in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation two: <\/strong>Can love be measured by money? It’s impossible! Although three hundred pence is precious, but can a heart of loving the Lord be measured by gold and silver? Compare to the good deeds of helping the poor that the Lord is pleased, yet can any good deeds replace the love He needs from us? The Lord, of course, needs the ministry of work, but the Lord needs the ministry of Love more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: <\/strong>God heavenly Father, thank You for such a breadth and length and height and depth love, and a trivial person like me can receive Your grace. In meditating on the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus, ask Your Holy Spirit to guide me, let me understand Your love, and respond to Your love.
