Meditation one: Will there be eternal\nlife for all who do more good deeds and merit? No, it will not! Christians can\nreceive eternal life not because of what they have done for God, but because of\nthe righteousness of Christ accomplished on the cross. We can be called\nrighteousness by believing in Christ’s salvation, not by behaving. And a person\nwith eternal life will naturally reveal the goodness and character of Christ.\nBut the point is whether we can assure our faith is truly the faith of being\nsaved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: How do you show that you\nare a reborn and saved Christian? Is it because you have been baptized or\ndiligently served in the church? Rather, it is to see if your manner of life be worthy of the faith you have. The\npersistence of Christian\u2019s good deeds is not to do a kind thing each day, nor\nis trying to earn a salvation, but to be grateful and responsive to God’s\nsalvation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
