Meditation one: Why\ncan\u2019t Christians show favoritism toward others? Since favoritism is inconsistent with the divine nature of\nthat God is love. It is not only inconsistent with\nGod’s will and plan, but also against God’s command of Loving\nyour neighbor as yourself. When\nyou show mercy to others, God will treat you with kindness, because your mercy\nevidences that you have the faith of salvation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: What\nis the biggest difference between God and people with respect to how to regard\nothers? People tend to arbitrate others based on outward appearance. God judges\npeople by examining their hearts. The Lord does not look at the\nthings people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord\nlooks at the heart (1Sa 16:7). God so\nloved the world (Joh 3:16). He does not show favoritism (Rom 2:11). Children who are loved by God should treat\nothers impartially. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nThank God, You made me a child of God because of Your salvation. Although You\nsaved me with love, but how many times I failed to love people with the love\nYou have. Please forgive my prejudice and favoritism. Help me Lord, in order to\nrespond to Your love, I want to love You with all my heart, with all my soul\nand with all my mind.
