Meditation one: Why is\nit very important for Christians to be “near to God”? That is because\nit is God’s command and God’s promise. When we come near to God, He promises\nthat He “will” come near to us. How can a sinful person come near to\nthe holy God? First, repent before God, ask God to create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me (Psa 51:10), so that the relationship with God is approved by God in His light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: How\nto maintain a close relationship with God? You have to spend time each day to\nne near to God! We all know that the more you come near to something, the more\nyou are influenced by it. If Christians often read the Bible and pray, and have\na close spiritual relationship with the members of the body of the Lord, they\nwill be able to stay away from the secular affairs, refuse seduction, and\nresist the devil. On the contrary, if a Christian reads less Bible, neglects assembling together, and has a cold relationship with the members of the\nbody of the Lord, it is then easy to get lost and be devoured by\nthe devil (1Pe 5:8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nGod heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the opportunity to be near to You.\nAs long as I turn to You, You always open Your arms to receive me. Give me a\nsensitive heart, so that I can set my mind on You and follow Your will.
