Meditation one: Why\nshould Christians be holy in all they do? It is because our God heavenly Father\nis a holy God. When we were still ignorant, we indulged our desires. We were\nself-centered in all we did, and set rules per our own standards. Now we are\nsaved through grace, all things are centered on God. His standard is to make us\nholy like Him. A holy life is not our choice, but His command, and the will\nthat He has set for us (1Th 4:3).

\nMeditation two: Since God wants us to be\nholy, how can we live a holy life? On the passive side, we must lay aside all\nfilth so can be free from the bondage of sin. On the proactive side, we must live sanctified lives among the crowd. We must let others see that we\nbelong to Christ through our daily lives, words, deeds, and attitudes. We\ncannot rely on ourselves and become holy, but God has given us the Holy Spirit\nto be our help and victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nDear Lord, thank You for sanctifying me out of this world. Your purpose is to\nwant me to be holy like You.
