Meditation one: Why\ndoesn\u2019t God say to His children, “your days will equal your\nstrength” but “your\nstrength will equal your days”?\nGod knows that our own power is limited, and God does not want us to use the\nworldly naive thoughts and ways that “man can always conquer nature”.\nChristians are separated from the world by\nGod. We belong to God and are disciples of Jesus Christ. We must “live\nout” the lives of trust in God in order to “gain” the strength\nfrom God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meditation two: It\nis approaching the yearend. While facing the New Year, do you have the\nassurance of your future? No one knows what will happen tomorrow. But those who\ntrust in God can rest assured because God has explicitly promised, “your\nstrength will equal your days”.\nThis is a powerful reminder, encouragement and comfort for us. The Lord Jesus\ndoes not want us to worry about tomorrow, but to seek first His\nkingdom and His righteousness, and He\nwill take complete care of other things including the future. While we trust\nand obey and walk in the Lord’s will, then the Lord will be with us. Walking\nwith Him is the strength for us to move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayer:\nAbba Father, thank You for being our strength. I really don’t know what will\nhappen tomorrow, but I will seize Your promise.
