Insight:\u00a0\u00a0\u201cSo I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.\u201d (Act 24:16)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insight one: How can we always keep a clear conscience? We must first have a clear conscience before God. Because once the conscience before God is not clear, the same will happen on the conscience toward people. Whenever our own conscience is not clear, we cannot have confidence before God; because “if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God” (1Jh 3:21). The children of God, regardless of their words, actions, manners, and thoughts, should always seek a clear conscience before God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insight two: Will it be good enough as long we as do things according to the “conscience”? It is not so. Since human beings cast down in sins, the conscience has been defiled and the conscience becomes weak and filthy. To make the conscience a “clear conscience”, the only way is through the cleansing of the blood of Christ to become a new creation. One should live a sanctified life under the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and pursue spiritual renewal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Abba Father, You are the highest and holy. Your calling to us is to ask us to live a holy life. Please have Your Holy Spirit fill in me all the time, so that I can always have a clear conscience toward God and people in all things I do. I also ask You to guide me so that whatever happens, I will conduct myself in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ(Phi 1:27).
