Insight one: What is the essential key to be a person pleasing to God? That is to be holy! This is God’s purpose to sanctify us out of the world, and it is also His intention of the calling. The word of God clearly says, “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do” (1Pe 1:15). Be holy like the Lord is what Christians must pursue for their entire lives, and it is the most powerful testimony of Christians’ sanctification in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insight two: How do we live a sanctified life in the era of lewdness? From negative perspective, it is not to be contaminated with filth, far away from adultery. On the positive side, we must live out God\u2019s holy and glorious character. A sanctified life cannot depend on oneself. It needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be guided at all times. The work of the Holy Spirit is not only to give us power, but also to give us hope, enabling us to live a victorious and holy life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Dear Abba Father, Thank you for what you have accomplished in Christ. My body was bought by You at a price, and is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1Co 6:19-20). I would like to offer my body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You (Rom 12:1). Please help me, whether in moral life, relationship between husband and wife, relationship between men and women, work ethics, and deeds, let me live a holy life in Your light at all times.
