Meditation one: Do you want to see the strength of a prayer is powerful and effective? A powerful and effective prayer is related to the person who prays. “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer.” (1Pe 3:12) The question is how can we become righteous? The Lord promised: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1Jn 1:9). All the people whose\u201dtransgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered” by God. Their prayers will surely be heard by God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meditation two: Why is prayer so indispensable for a Christian\u2019s life? It is because prayer is as important as breathing to people. Prayer is a conduit of God’s blessing to His children. Prayer is never a waste of time, but the best way to use time. We pray then God will do things. The more one prays to God, the more one will know God’s will. Whether you encounter difficulties, illnesses, or failures, you can bring them to the Lord, and there is nothing too hard for Him. How many times have we suffered in vain, because we have not brought everything to the most intimate friend Jesus, He is willing to help, because He is compassionate to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for giving me the privilege of prayer. Please teach me to use every opportunity to pray regardless whether I am working, studying, resting, driving, or walking. Not only I value my prayer to You, but also learn to pray together with my brothers and sisters with unity of mind. More importantly, let me be a person who is sober in prayer.
