Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other.\u201d (Mar 9:50)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Insight one:&nbsp;What is the function of Christians living in this world? It is not &#8220;to be like&#8221; salt, but &#8220;be&#8221; the salt, which is resulted through the faith in Christ. It is not only a &#8220;salt&#8221;, but also a &#8220;salty salt&#8221; to be effective. Useful salt not only has a &#8220;preservative&#8221; effect on the corruption of the world, but also has the effect of making people &#8220;in harmony&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Insight two: How to make your life in the world a blessing to others? Like salt, you must first dissolve yourself and sacrifice yourself in order to give people a taste; burn yourself to illuminate others. Only when our lives are cleansed through the fire as salt, we can then truly love one another and live in harmony in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a function to live in this world. Please help me to live a sanctified life in this world and never follow the trends of this world. Wherever I am, please use me.
