《今日靈修默想》：「我現在是要得人的心（歡心）呢？還是要得神的心呢？我豈是討人的喜歡麼？若仍舊討人的喜歡，我就不是基督的僕人了。」（加1:10）
默想一：專一討神的喜歡容易嗎？不容易！因為你可能因此受虧損，受羞辱，受逼迫。但這證明你是真正的敬畏祂，尊重祂，愛祂。其實，討神的喜歡所受的虧損最後必變為利益，所受的羞辱最後必變為榮耀，所受的逼迫最後必變為祝福。
默想二：為什麼討人喜歡會痛苦？因為你處處都要看人的臉色，時時擔心得罪人，怕達不到標準，你所作的只為了讓人滿意。討人喜歡的人似乎是聰明，其實他們是愚昧的；討神喜歡的人似乎愚昧，其實他們是明智的。作基督僕人的目的，就是榮耀祂，並效法祂。祂說；「因為人子來，並不是要受人的服侍，乃是要服侍人，並且要捨命作多人的贖價」（可10:45）。
禱告：阿爸父神，感謝袮在基督裡所賜的福分，讓我有榮耀的特權作袮的僕人。求袮教導我如何在凡事上尊袮為大，以袮的旨意為依歸。只要是袮喜歡的，我願意做；只要是榮耀袮的，我甘心擺上。奉主耶穌的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Am I now trying to win the approval (delight) of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” (Gal 1:10)
Meditation one: Is it easy to win the approval of God? It is not easy! It is because you may suffer losses, be humiliated, and be persecuted. However, it proves that you are truly fear the Lord, respect Him, and love Him. In fact, the losses from pleasing God will eventually become gains, the humiliations will eventually become glories, and the persecutions will eventually become blessings.
Meditation two: Why is it so distressing when trying to please people? It is because you have to watch people’s responses in all situations, always worry about offending people, and afraid of not meeting their expectations. All you do is only for the approval of people. People who are trying to please other people appear to be clever, but in fact they are foolish. The purpose of being a servant of Christ is to glorify Him and to follow Him. He said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mar 10:45)
Prayer: Abba Father, I thank You for giving me the blessings in Christ, and letting me have the glorious privilege to be Your servant. Please teach me how to to abide by Your will and glorify You in all things. As long as it can please You, I am willing to do. As long as it can glorify You, I am willing to dedicate. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen!
