《今日靈修默想》：「人若自潔，脫離卑賤的事，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用。」（提後2:21）
默想一：基督徒為什麼要過聖潔的生活？因爲那呼召我們的神是聖潔的，祂要我們脫離在神眼中看為卑賤（罪惡、汙穢）的事！聖潔是祂把我們從世界分別出來的目的。神是要我們作事，但祂所注意的，並不是事，乃是作事的人。
默想二：你要成為神家中貴重的器皿嗎？世人看的貴重價值在於地位高升、錢財萬貫、知識淵博、才華橫溢、外觀迷人，但神造的每一個人都有價值，都能被神使用，只是差別在於我們是否做合神心意的器皿，就是活出神的聖潔，只有聖潔才能合乎主使用。
禱告：親愛的主！感謝袮寶血的功效潔淨了我。我願把我的餘生獻給袮用，我不求被袮「大用」，而是「合乎祢用」。求袮的聖靈時刻地充滿我，好讓我在袮聖潔的光中生活。奉主耶穌的名禱告，阿們!
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.” (2Ti 2:21)
Meditation one: Why do Christians have to live a holy life? Since the God, who has called us, is holy, therefore He wants us to purge from what is seen as dishonorable (sinful, filthy) in the eyes of God! Holiness is His purpose of sanctifying us from the world. God does want us to do things, but His focus is not the thing, but the person who does the thing.
Meditation two: Do you want to be an honorable vessel in the house of God? Worldly perspective of honorable value lies in higher positions, wealthy prosperities, profound knowledges, brilliant talents, and alluring appearance. Nevertheless, each person created by God has value and can be used by God. The only difference is whether or not we are the instruments to serve God’s will and live out God’s holiness. Be holy is the only way to make us useful to the Lord and prepared to do any good work.
Prayer: Dear Lord! Thank You for the efficacy of Your precious blood to cleanse me. I am willing to dedicate the rest of my life for You to use. I am not asking for “greatly useful” but “useful to You.” Please let Your Holy Spirit fill in me every moment, so that I may live in Your holy light. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen!
