《今日靈修默想》：「你們親近神，神就必親近你們。」（雅4:8）
默想一：為什麼「親近神」對基督徒很重要？因為那是神的命令，也是神的應許。當我們親近神，祂應許「必定」親近我們。有罪的人如何親近聖潔的神？先要在神面前悔改，求神為我們造清潔的心，使我們裡面重新有正直的靈（詩51:10），好使我們與神的關係在神的光中蒙祂喜悅。
默想二：如何保持與神親密的關係？你必須得每天花時間親近神！我們都知道與什麼東西接觸越多，就越受它的感染。如果基督徒經常讀聖經禱告，與主內肢體有親密的靈交，就能遠離世俗，拒絕引誘，抵擋魔鬼。相反地，若基督徒少讀經禱告，忽視聚會，與主內肢體的關係冷淡，就容易迷失，被魔鬼吞吃（彼前5:8）。
禱告：天父上帝，感謝祢賜我隨時親近袮的機會。只要我轉向袮，袮總是敞開雙手迎接我。求祢賜我敏銳的心，好讓我體貼袮的心意，並遵行袮的旨意。也求聖靈時刻提醒我，好讓我藉著每天與袮的相交，靈命日日成長，愛袮日日更深。奉耶穌寶貴的聖名禱告。阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Come near to God and he will come near to you.” (Jas 4:8)
Meditation one: Why is it very important for Christians to be “near to God”? That is because it is God’s command and God’s promise. When we come near to God, He promises that He “will” come near to us. How can a sinful person come near to the holy God? First, repent before God, ask God to create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me (Psa 51:10), so that the relationship with God is approved by God in His light.
Meditation two: How to maintain a close relationship with God? You have to spend time each day to ne near to God! We all know that the more you come near to something, the more you are influenced by it. If Christians often read the Bible and pray, and have a close spiritual relationship with the members of the body of the Lord, they will be able to stay away from the secular affairs, refuse seduction, and resist the devil. On the contrary, if a Christian reads less Bible, neglects assembling together, and has a cold relationship with the members of the body of the Lord, it is then easy to get lost and be devoured by the devil (1Pe 5:8).
Prayer: God heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the opportunity to be near to You. As long as I turn to You, You always open Your arms to receive me. Give me a sensitive heart, so that I can set my mind on You and follow Your will. I also ask the Holy Spirit to remind me at all times, so, through the fellowship with You, my spiritual life can grow day by day, and my love to You will grow deeper and deeper. I pray in the precious name of Jesus. Amen!
