《今日靈修默想》：「不要懼怕！我是首先的，我是末後的。又是那存活的；我曾死過，現在又活了，只活到永永遠遠，並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。」（啟1:17-18）
默想一：你知道我們的主耶穌擁有任何人所沒有的屬性嗎？祂有屬於神的屬性—是首先的，是末後的。這對基督徒的人生、信仰、事奉有極大的意義。我們所信的主擁有無上的權威，祂自始至終統管我們的一切。耶穌應許，當我們踏上基督徒旅程的第一步時，祂在那裡；當我們走完人生的最後一步時，祂仍在那裡。有「以馬內利」的神的同在，我們還懼怕什麼。
默想二：你能坦然地越過人生的死亡線嗎？今天世人在死亡面前根本就是無能為力，也無法逃避。感謝主，那為我們的罪從死裡復活的主耶穌，是唯一能從墳墓裡走出來的，因為祂是真神。人人都有一死，但對信徒而言，只是脫離軀殼，我們立刻與主同在一起。當主再來時，我們都要復活，屆時我們的靈魂便與榮耀的身體復合，一同被提到天父的家裡去，與祂同在到永遠。這是基督徒榮耀的盼望。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝祢從死裡復活，粉碎了掌死權的魔鬼。因著祢的得勝，我不再懼怕和悲嘆；因祢的復活，我能歡然地面對未來；因為祢的同在，我要珍惜每一天，竭力多做主工，凡事榮耀袮。奉耶穌得勝的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” (Rev 1:17-18)
Meditation one: Do you know that our Lord Jesus has attributes that no human being has? He has the attributes that belong to God — the first and the last. This holds a great significance for a Christian’s life, faith, and ministry. The Lord we believe in has supreme authority, and He rules everything from beginning to end. Jesus has promised that when we set foot on the first step of the Christians’ journey, He will be there; when we finish the last step of life, He will still be there. With the presence of the God of Immanuel, what are we afraid of?
Meditation two: Can you boldly cross the life line of death? Today, people of this world are totally powerless in front of death and also find no other way to escape. Thank Lord; our Lord Jesus has risen from the dead for our sins and is the only one who can come out of the grave because He is the true God. Everyone will face death, but for believers, it is just a separation from the flesh and we will immediately be with the Lord. When the Lord returns, we will all be resurrected. At that time our souls will be united with the body of glory, and we will be caught up to the Father’s house and be with Him forever. This is Christians’ glorious hope.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for rising from the dead and breaking the devil’s power of death. Because of Your victory, I no longer fear and lament; because of Your resurrection, I can face the future with joy; because of Your presence, I will cherish every day, and strive to do Your work to glorify You in everything. I pray in the victorious name of Jesus, Amen!
