《今日靈修默想》：「把你腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站的地方是聖的。」（書5:15）
默想一：基督徒在屬靈爭戰裡得勝的秘訣是什麼？讓神作我們軍隊的元帥！而要與神同工作戰的必須先「脫下」骯髒的鞋子，洗淨一切污穢，才能披上光明的盔甲。跟隨基督的精兵，要潔淨自己，才能配得基督的得勝。「脫下」另一個意思就是放心下自己的高帽及自大，把主權交給神，願意順從祂的一切指令及引導。
默想二：在屬靈的爭戰中，怎麼知道神是站在你這邊？還是站在敵人那邊？唯一可以肯定你現在站在神這邊的，就是當你在祂的聖潔裡。神是光，在祂毫無黑暗。因此基督徒當從世人的各種罪惡、肉慾、虛榮、世俗中分別出來。我們的行事為人當像光明的子女，活出與神兒女的身分相稱的生活。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝祢作我們屬靈爭戰的元帥，有祢在前頭指揮，我們必定得勝。有祢同在的地方，就是聖地。求祢的聖靈充滿我，讓我在彎曲悖謬的世代裡，依靠祢的大能大力作剛強的人。奉主耶穌的名禱告。阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” (Jos 5:15)
Meditation one: What is the secret of Christians’ victory in spiritual warfare? Let God be the commander of our adversaries! To work with God, you must first “take off” your dirty sandals and cleanse all defilement before you can put on the armor of light. The soldiers who follow Christ must cleanse themselves to be worthy of Christ’s victory. “Take off” also means to put away your haughtiness and arrogance, give sovereignty to God, and to be willing to obey all His commands and guidance.
Meditation two: How do you know that God is on your side in a spiritual battle? Or is He on the adversaries’ side? The only way you can be sure that you are standing on God’s side is that you are in His holiness. God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. Therefore, Christians should set apart from the sin, carnal, vanity, and worldliness of this world. We should walk as children of light and live a life that abides in the lives of God’s children.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for being our commander in our spiritual warfare. With Your headship and guidance up front, we will prevail. The place where you are with us is a Holy Land. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let me be strong in the power of Your might in the middle of this crooked and perverse generation. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen!
