《今日靈修默想》:『我赤身出于母胎，也必赤身歸回；賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華。耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。』（伯1:21）
默想一：約伯在一日之內喪失兒女和財產，又重病在身，但他怎麼能在極度的悲哀中照樣稱頌神？因為他在每個不幸的背後都看見了神慈愛的手，他因此堅信所發生的一切絕沒有是偶然的，乃在神智慧的安排裡。既然天災人禍是神的允許，人不但應該順服神的主權，也當從神那裡上尋找答案。
默想二：你能為神見證說：『賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華』？事實上，只有當神收回我們所愛的財富、親人和事業，才能看出我們靈裡真正的光景。你相信神所應許的「永生」（約3:16）？你對神所賜的「天上的基業」（彼前一4）有把握嗎？你深信你所有的都來自神嗎?
禱告：天父上帝，我感謝袮的大愛，袮的愛遠超過我能理解的。當我陷在痛苦絕望時，祢並沒有離棄我。袮差遣的聖靈保惠師，一直是我随時的幫助、安慰和力量。我雖然經過死蔭的幽谷，但我不怕遭害，因我深知祢與我同在。袮不離不棄的愛讓我的信心更堅定, 我要揚聲讚美袮. 奉耶穌基督的名祈求,阿們!
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” (Job 1:21)
Meditation one: Job lost his children and wealth within a day and was seriously ill, but how could he still praise God in the midst of extreme sorrow? Because he saw God’s loving hand behind every misfortune, he was convinced that what happened was not by chance, but in the arrangement of God’s wisdom. As natural and man-made disasters are permitted by God, people should not only submit to God’s sovereignty, but also seek answers from God.
Meditation two: Can you testify for God: “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away”? In fact, the true state of our spirits can only be revealed when God takes back the possessions, family, and career we love. Do you believe in the “eternal life” that God has promised (John 3:16)? Are you sure about the “heavenly inheritance” (1 Peter 1:4) given by God? Are you convinced that all you have is from God?
Prayer: God Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your great love, Your love is more than I can comprehend. You did not forsake me when I was in pain and despair. The Comforter of the Holy Spirit, whom You have sent, has been my ever-present help, comfort, and strength Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your unfailing love strengthens my faith. I want to raise my voice to praise You. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
