《今日靈修默想》：耶穌又對賣鴿子的說：「把這些東西拿去！不要將我父的殿當作買賣的地方（市場）」（約2:16）
默想一：如果主耶穌今天到你的教會，你想祂會歡喜入座嗎？還是心裏焦急發大牢騷。為什麼？因祂看見父神在殿裡當受極大的讚美，卻被人踐踏、褻瀆、濫用。主耶穌發義怒，顯出祂是聖潔和公義的主。
默想二：你到教會的目的是什麼？是敬拜神，還是找朋友？是尊榮神，還是求自己的好處？如果你把教會當作社交或交易的場所，你到教會的敬拜只是形式化、禮儀化，毫無意義。
禱告：感謝神，在地上賜我屬靈的家—教會，讓我在教會裡學習過如在天的生活。教會面臨許多的挑戰，魔鬼的攻擊、破壞、分裂。求祢的聖靈光照，先潔淨我以致於全教會，使祢的教會充滿敬拜、讚美、歌頌、禱告的聲音，而不是嘈雜、買賣、控訴、埋怨的聲音。主！我不問教會為我做了什麼，而是問我為神的教會做了什麼。奉耶穌基督的名禱告。阿們。
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “To those who sold doves he said, ‘Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!’” (John 2:16)
Meditation one: If Jesus were to come to your church today, would you really think Him to like to take a seat? Or is there actually an anxious moaning in His heart. Why? Because He sees that the Father should greatly to be praised in the temple, instead He is trod, blasphemed, and exploited by people. The wrath of the Lord Jesus reveals that He is the Holy and the righteous Lord.
Meditation two: What is your purpose to be in a Church? Is it to worship God, or to find a friend? Is it to glorify God, or is it a good place to gain something for yourself? If you treat the church as a social or trading site, your worship at the church is only a superficial ordinance and is meaningless.
Prayer: Thank You God, You granted me a home for my soul on earth – the church, and let me learn how to live a heavenly life. Churches are facing many challenges such as Satan’s attack, ruining, and division. Please make the light of Your spirit shine on me and the entire church so that the Church will be filled with adoration, praise, hail, and the sound of prayer, rather than the din of noise, bazaar, accusation, and complaint. Lord, I do not ask what the church has done for me, but what I have done for the Church of God. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
