《今日靈修默想》：「祂（神）叫我們能承擔這新約的執事，不是憑著字句，乃是憑著精意（聖靈）。因為那字句是叫人死，精意是叫人活」（林後3:6 ）
默想一：讀聖經對你是享受還是負擔？覺得生動還是乏味？我們不僅要讀進字句，更要讀出字句裡所含的精意，讀出神藉著經文所要啟示給我們的心意。關鍵在我們需要聖靈的引導，若沒有聖靈的啟示，所讀的成了頭腦的知識卻沒有生命，只變成叫人死的字句而已。
默想二：你熱心服事主卻未見果效嗎？或覺得愈服事愈累？我們要求聖靈的光照。神不要我們憑「字句」（儀文、文字、知識、傳統，規條）來服事，乃是依靠神的靈方能成事。
禱告：親愛的父神，感謝祢賜下聖靈成為我隨時的幫助。求祢讓我明白，我既然靠聖靈得生，今後的服事也要時時刻刻靠聖靈行事（加5:25）。奉主耶穌的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “He (God) has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” (2Cor 3:6 )
Meditation one: Is reading the Bible a burden or a joy for you? Do you feel lively or boring? We must not only read the letter, but also read into the essence contained in the words, and read the connotation that God wants to reveal to us through the scriptures. The key is that we need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Without the revelation of the Holy Spirit, what is read is just lifeless knowledge of the brain, for the letter kills.
Meditation two: Are you eager to serve the Lord but have not been fruitful? Or do you feel more and more exhausted? We ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us. God does not want us to serve by “letter” (codes, terms, knowledge, traditions, rules), but by the Spirit of God to do things.
Prayer: Dear God heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit to help me in time of need. Please let me recognize that since I live by the Holy Spirit, let my future ministries also keep in step with the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:25). I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.
