《今日靈修默想》：「我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。」(約一1:9)
默想一：基督徒既然蒙恩得救，罪得赦免了，就不會再犯罪嗎？事實告訴我們，我們信了主，但仍然活在軟弱的世界裡，我們過去的老我、惡習及想法仍會影響我們，使我們可能會犯罪。為此，我們要時刻地求聖靈的充滿，讓聖靈天天引導我們過得勝的生活！未信主的人得赦免的方法是『信』，但信徒得赦免的方法是『認』，承認自己所犯的一切罪，求祂的赦免，祂必洗淨我們一切的不義。
默想二：我們無論犯多少罪，不用擔心，反正神還是愛我，這想法對嗎？不對！我們得蒙赦罪，不但因神的慈愛，也因神的公義與信實。神是愛，滿有恩典慈愛，但祂同時是公義和信實，滿有權威榮光。神的信實是保證神的應許，神的公義是保證主的救贖。祂呼召我們歸向基督，祂也呼召我們進入祂的愛裡，過聖潔的生活。
禱告：感謝天父上帝的大愛。袮藉著耶穌的死償還了我們所有的罪債，使我在基督裡有新的生命。求袮的聖靈光照我，讓我活出袮的聖潔，因袮說：「非聖潔沒有人能見主」（來12:14）。奉耶穌基督得勝的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1Jh 1:9)
Meditation one: Since Christians are saved by God’s grace and their sins are forgiven, will they not sin anymore? The facts tell us that we believe in the Lord, yet we still live in a vulnerable world. Our past old self, bad habits, and thoughts still affect us, which likely will make us to sin. To this end, we must always pray for being filled with the Holy Spirit, and let the Holy Spirit guide us through a victorious life every day! The way that the unbelievers are forgiven is “belief,” but the way a believer is forgiven is to “confess”. Confess all the sins that we have committed, and ask for His forgiveness. He will purify us from all unrighteousness.
Meditation two: Is it true that no matter how many sins we commit, there is no need to worry because God still loves us? No, it is not true! Our sins are forgiven, not only because of God’s love, but also because of God’s righteousness and faithfulness. God is love, full of grace and kind, but at the mean time He is righteous and faithful, full of authority and glory. God’s faithfulness is a guarantee for God’s promise, and God’s righteousness is a guarantee for God’s redemption. He calls us to return to Christ, and He calls us into His love to live a holy life.
Prayer: Thank God heavenly Father for the great love. You redeemed all our sins through Jesus’ crucifixion, and made me have a new life in Christ. Please have the Holy Spirit shined on me, and make me live out Your holiness, because You say, “without sanctification no one will see the Lord.” (Heb 12:14) I pray in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
