《今日靈修默想》：「你們要看見一個嬰孩，包著布，臥在馬槽裡，那就是記號了。」（路2:12）
默想一：今天人類最根本的問題是什麼？不是政治、教育、哲學、管理、經濟、科學的問題，而是生死的問題，也就是內在心靈的問題。感謝神，祂藉著天使向世人報佳音說：「我報給你們大喜的信息，是關乎萬民的。因今天在大衛的城裡，為你們生了救主，就是主基督。」主耶穌的降世的目的，就是要來解決人的問題，祂是道路、真理、生命的主。
默想二：主耶穌降生的記號是什麼？是「嬰孩，包著布，臥在馬槽裡」。這意味著全能的上帝進入到祂所創造的世界裡，無限的上帝進入到有限的時空之中。主耶稣原本在高天之上，坐在榮耀的寶座，卻為人類的需要而降世為人，身上卻包著粗糙的布，卧在冷冰冰的馬槽中，這是何等大的委屈與犧牲。主耶穌降卑行動正彰顯了祂的愛。
禱告：親愛的主，感謝袮。因為袮為了我們的罪，來到世上受苦，受難，被釘死在十字架上，也為我們的緣故復活了，袮應許為了我們還要再來。求袮幫助我，在普世歡騰時，讓世人從我身上看到基督徒的記號—愛、謙卑、平安、喜樂。奉耶穌基督的名禱告，阿們！
《Today’s spiritual meditation》: “This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” (Luk 2:12)
Meditation one: What is mankind’s most fundamental problem today? It is not the problem about politics, education, philosophy, management, economy, science, but a puzzle of life and death, that is, a question in the innermost soul. Thank God, He declared to the world through angels and said, “I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.” The purpose of Lord Jesus to come to the world is to solve mankind’s problems. He is the Lord of the way, the truth, and the life.
Meditation two: What is the sign of the birth of the Lord Jesus? It is “baby, wrapped in cloths, lying in a manger.” This means that the Almighty God has entered the world he has created, and the infinite God has entered into the limited time and space. The Lord Jesus, who was sitting on a throne of glory above the heavens, came to the world for the needs of mankind, but was wrapped in rough cloths, lying in a cold manger. What a grievance and sacrifice this is. The Lord Jesus’ humble exploit reveals His love.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You. Because of our sins, You came to the world to agonize, suffer, be crucified, and resurrected for our sake. You have promised to come again for us. Help me, when the world is in jubilation, let the world see the signs of Christianity — love, humble, peace, joy. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
