讀經：提摩太前書第三章。
默想：「這家就是永生神的家，真理的柱石和根基。」（提前3:15）
默想一：教會是什麼？教會不是人造卻沒有生命的建築物，而是永生神呼召出來成為敬拜祂的人。換句話說，教會不是指被造的禮堂，而是被召來敬拜神的人。既然我們是基督用祂的寶血把我們買贖並歸屬於永活的神，我們在神家裡（教會）就要活出神的生命、神的光、神的愛。
默想二：教會存在的目的是什麼？是傳揚基督的福音來彰顯神。神一切所是的、所作的、和所要得著的，都要在教會這個神的家裡彰顯出來。彰顯神必須是以真理的柱石和根基，神向教會啟示祂的真理，真理要藉著教會活出來。
禱告；感謝神，袮為我們預備了永生神的家，但多少時候我沒有盡到神家裡的責任。求袮赦免我對教會的愛心不夠，也饒恕我對教會有諸多的偏見及主見。也饒恕我，沒有以基督的心為心。求祢教導我如何愛神愛人，並操練我在教會裡彼此學習過如在天的生活，讓世人在教會裡看見基督。禱告是奉主耶穌的名，阿們！
Bible Reading: 1 Timothy 3.
Insight:“Which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.” (1Ti 3:15)
Insight one: What is a church? A church is not a man-made lifeless building, but a group of people whom are called out by the eternal God to worship Him. In other words, the church does not refer to the constructed auditorium, but to those who are called to worship God. Since we are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ and belong to the living God, in the house of God (the church), we should live out the life of God, the light of God, and the love of God.
Insight two: What is the purpose of the presence of a Church? The purpose is to manifest God through preaching the Gospel. All He is, He has done, and He wants to have, will be revealed in the church, which is the house of God. To reveal our God, we must abide by the pillar and foundation of the truth. God reveals His truth to the church, and the truth can be manifested through the church.
Prayer: Thank God for preparing the house of the living God for us, but how many times that I did not fulfill my responsibility in the God’s family. Please forgive me for my inadequate love in the church, and forgive me for my prejudice and subjective opinion upon the church. Please also forgive me for not having the same mindset as Christ. Please teach me how to love God and love people, and train me how to learn from one another in the church to live a heavenly life to let the world see Christ in the church. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.
