讀經：約書亞記第五章。
默想：「把你（約書亞將軍）腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站的地方是聖的。」（書5:15）
默想一：基督徒在屬靈爭戰裡得勝的秘訣是什麼？讓神作我們軍隊的元帥！而要與神同工作戰的必須先「脫下」骯髒的鞋子，洗淨一切污穢，才能披上光明的盔甲。「脫下」另一個意思就是放下自己的高帽及自大，把主權交給神，願意順從祂的一切指令。
默想二：神是站在你這邊還是站在敵人那邊？不知道！但要肯定你現在是否站在神那邊。唯一肯定的是，你是否活在祂的聖潔裡並活出聖潔的生活。
禱告：主耶穌，感謝祢作我屬靈爭戰的元帥，只要祢在前面指揮，我就放心。有祢同在的地方，就是聖地。求祢的聖靈充滿我，讓我在彎曲悖謬的世代裡，依靠祢的大能大力作剛強的人。奉祢的名禱告。阿們！
Bible Reading: Joshua 5
Insight: “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” (Jos 5:15)
Insight one: What is the secret of victory for Christians in a spiritual warfare? Let God be the commander of our army! Those who want to work with and fight with God must first “take off” their dirty sandals and wash away all filth before they can put on the armor of light. Another meaning for “Take off” is to put away your elegant hat and arrogance, and hand over the sovereignty to God, and to be willing to obey all His commands.
Insight two: Is God on your side or on the enemy’s side? Don’t know! But be sure whether you are now on God’s side or not. The only assurance is whether you live in His holiness as well as live out a holy life.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for being the commander of my spiritual warfare. As long as You command in front, I can rest assured. The place where You are with me is the Holy Land. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and let me rely on Your power to be a strong person in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation. I pray in Your name. Amen!
